Creative Drama in Intergenerational Volunteering
Through our CreaTYV project, together with our partners, we have set out to argue for intergenerational volunteering activities.
This particular type of volunteering has a great impact on various target groups. We have started by finding the data related to volunteering in the project countries and looking for the best practices. We have been delighted to find many intergenerational projects that are already changing the lives of the people involved and are standing as evidence towards what more intergenerational volunteering activities could achieve.
In order to get different generations to share a common language and motivate them to volunteer together, we are proposing the Creative Drama approach – a highly interactive method that accelerates the development of the relationships within the group.
